Introduction to Files

This article gives a general introduction to Files inside your Device Hub.

Files is a tool to upload applications, configuration and other files to your Device Hub. The tool enables you to manage the visibility and access to the uploaded files and provides you with a set of actions.

How to find an overview of your files inside Device Hub?

  1. Log in to your Device Hub.
  2. Use sidebar to navigate to Files.

  3. Here you can see all of your uploaded files.

 

How to upload new files?

  1. Navigate to Device Hub > Files.
  2. To upload new files Click and browse your computer or use drag and drop.

How to manage uploaded files?

  • Visibility: you can assign a certain Workspace or Group to the uploaded file.
  • Actions: you can manage tags, download the file or delete the file.

How many files can I upload?

Use the sidebar to navigate to Workspace > Subscription details to see the number of files you are able to upload with your subscription.

How do I install an application (apk file) on my device?

  1. Use the sidebar to navigate to Devices.
  2. Click on a specific device or a group. A window opens. Navigate to the Files tab.
  3. There you can find two additional actions for your files: 
    Install application  Install application,
    Update application Update application.
