      How to enable Keep awake through MDM

      A step-by-step tutorial on how to remotely activate Keep awake on your devices

      Note: Enabling Keep awake through MDM changes the configuration on already installed devices. Of course, enabling and disabling Keep awake can also be done directly on your device or through Device provisioning as part of the pre-configuration process.

      Read the following tutorials on:

      1. Log in to your Device Hub and open the Devices overview page.
      2. Select the device where you want to enable Keep awake.
      3. Go to the Commands tab and click on the plus symbol (+) to open the Command dialog.

      4. Navigate to Commands tab.
      5. Click on Command type and select "Change system setting".
      6. To enable Keep awake fill in Command parameters with the following values:
        1. Section name: Global
        2. Value type: Integer
        3. Settings key name: stay_on_while_plugged_in
        4. New value: 7
      7. Click Create to enable Keep awake on this device.

      Note: To disable Keep awake set New Value to 0.
