A successful relationship since day one
Raspberry Pi has been Emteria's flagship platform since the company's earliest days, the hardware we use to develop and test every feature before it goes anywhere else.
Approved Design Partner status
Raspberry Pi's Design Partner Program recognizes companies with proven expertise helping businesses build products on Raspberry Pi hardware. Emteria is listed in the Software category, reflecting our work maintaining and customizing Android for Raspberry Pi 3, 4, 5, and the Compute Module family.
Program requirements
Raspberry Pi's Design Partner Program isn't automatic. Companies are evaluated on operating history, direct hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi hardware, and a track record of completed projects. Emteria has maintained Android releases for Raspberry Pi since the company's founding in 2017, across every generation of their hardware from the original Pi 3 to the Compute Module 5.
Emteria offers a platform, not a one-off development result
All our services and our products reflect a specific kind of work: not a one-time porting job, but an Android platform actively maintained across Raspberry Pi's current lineup, kept current with new Android releases, and supported long-term. That's the foundation every customization project on this page is built on top of.
What it means for you
Turning a Raspberry Pi into a shippable commercial product usually means custom branding, additional drivers, pre-installed applications, adjusted default settings, and a plan for keeping the OS updated over the product's lifetime. This is exactly what Emteria specializes in.
